The story behind Trip 1907 is to create a challenging and immersive escape the book game where players need to solve each chapter submitting and verifying their answers online at trip1907.com.
Hand drawn illustrations, story points and secret pass codes support players to understand the back end story and have a unique game experience. While time is not a game constraint, there is a new hint system and a player forum provided to guide players through the game.
It has been translated by Kosmos Verlang in German, Polish, Frech, Italian, Czech and Hungarian under the title of EXIT das Buch series of KOSMOS EXIT GAMES.
TRIP 1907: Dark Sails
It consists of 44 + riddles revealing the story background. While solving the riddles, the book unfolds its hidden story, providing key words and missing parts of it. Answers are submitted online while a “sanity bar” and an embedded hint system are keeping the character in story mode, exchanging sanity tokens for hints + gaining tokens for each correct answer. It’s now the time to see what lies hidden and reveal the ship’s final days.”
