The storm gave me extra cover. I found the crate on the deck, near the helm. It was smaller than I had thought but the padlock made me feel almost sure it was the correct one. A big one with the engravings of a skull and crossed bones and it had no keyhole, instead it had buttons all around it with letters.
The only lead I had, about what I needed to press, was two “codes” the crate had written on one corner of it with a cross between them. It required some thinking so I kept notes of everything and left in a hurry.
I am in no position to draw unnecessary attention and I’m sure this crate is constantly watched …
Should I ask Yang to come along again? Is it fair to put him also in danger?
