Hello, we’ve been at this puzzle voor days. Even with all the hints en comments we’re not gettin it. What are boxes? North east? Do we have to turn de book?
We’re feeling really stupid and are just stuck at the beginning of the book.
Please help.

Divide each box into 4 quadrants and look at the northeast part of each of them, a number should be visible
