I’m stuck on the meaning of the circle. I did the first hint, but I still don’t understand what it means.
We solved it
I have used up both my hints and have no idea how to proceed. I guess I’m having trouble narrowing down whats a clue and what is embellishment for the story. Like is the picture of the serpent a clue??
think sequence. the serpent is just a picture, not a clue
Figure out the Roman numerals and find their centers
I’m normally fairly good at this sort of thing, so why does this cause me to stare so blankly? I feel really dense! Anyone willing to give me a shove?
Oh wow. Wishing I could delete my previous comment …
I’m stuck on the meaning of the circle. I did the first hint, but I still don’t understand what it means. I’ve used both hints but still nothing.
Is the answer supposed to be four numbers derived from the circle?
(I do understand the hints but I cannot seem to be able to apply them)!
Any help would be appreciated!the circle is there to assist you with the numbers you are after..
Question: between the two Roman numbers I must put the chapter’s solution, or I use those numbers’ “middle” in combination with the circle to find the answer?
How many numbers is the solution (if not 4)?.. seriously, I have input every number/combination I can think of but nothing! .. and I’m supposed to be good at this!!
How/where can I find the key, if I cannot solve it?
(The hints are only two, so there is no more help from there)!Ok, so I finally solved it.
A little hint to help others:
Don’t think too “mathematical”, but literal.
Think “distance”.
Hint no1 REALLY helps IF you see the connection with the two numbers above. And to answer my own question: the solution is four numbers that you find after applying hint1 (and maybe hint2) to the above two numbers!
